From spectacular natural wonders to an amber museum housed in a palace, we highlight the landmark attractions from across Lithuania.
Dzūkija National Park
A protected area in the south of Lithuania, Dzūkija National Park is known for its extensive forests, lakes, and rich biodiversity. In the villages tucked amongst the woodland, tradition runs strong as local people continue to use ancient practices such as harvesting crops with a scythe, weaving baskets, and hand pottery. Visitors can hike the trails that connect the villages to discover more.
Amber Museum
The Amber Museum in Palanga, housed in a neoclassical palace on the grounds of Birutė Botanical Park, displays the sixth-largest collection of Baltic gold in the world. Boasting over 30,000 amber exhibits, including both raw and processed amber, visitors are invited to view the artefacts through magnifying glasses. The museum often hosts temporary exhibitions showcasing prominent Lithuanian jewellery designers.

Rinkuškiai Brewery
Located close to the city of Biržai, renowned for its beer production, Rinkuškiai Brewery is well-regarded for its wide selection of ales. The home of kaimiškas alus (village beer), which utilises local hops, the brewery offers extensive tours and tastings. Tap offerings include a sweet yet bitter porter, cold-filtered hop blends, and a smoky house gira (kvass) – a fermented beer with earthy undertones.
